Air bags

Hi guys, I’ve got a 2008 animal and unfortunately collided with a deer causing a fair bit of damage. I’m just in the process of rebuilding it and have now replaced the slam panel and just waiting on other bits. I’ve purchased two airbags and a module as both blew on the car. Will I need anything else airbag related other than the 3 things I’ve just mentioned?

Many thanks
Craig

You should be okay with just those bits. Only other bits are possibly seat belt tensioners? Do you have access to a proper code scanner that will allow you to reset it? The only way to find out what bits need doing on the srs/airbag system are to get the codes and see what it says! Just make sure your battery is unplugged whilst changing the airbags and module. Wouldn't be the first time I've seen an airbag randomly blow up!
