Old man emu nitro charger sport rear shocks. The ones on my truck are dripping with the oil that used to be inside them so figured these would do nice as a replacement.

Got them from 4x4 accessories Scotland at Seafield coachworks in Edinburgh. Said to Billy there that I would drop a forum card by when I'm next over. They are a TBR dealer and can order from their entire range. They weren't cheap at £240 but they should last the life of the truck as it gets a progressively harder time

I`m feeling the love - mine have done 10 k miles now , a lot off road and they are excellent units - bushes are destroyed but the shocks have no play and have as good rebound / resistance as when they were new

Not adjustable but nitro charged and have a much larger shock body meaning that they will cope with heat better when off road. The seals have blown on mine completely. These should be much hardier. Basil runs similar on his iirc so should be able to comment on running them over a longer period of time.

Think they are a bit longer than standard too so should help with the old man emu springs I have and the lift shackles when thy go on

check the design details online and I believe they are able to travel further inside the barrel of the shock over standard ones - this allows the use of these units for many different lifts and applications

Well that's them fitted. HAve taken it a quick spin around the block and there is such a difference! Feels much more planted when turning and less bouncy! Will defo be getting fronts when I can afford them!

I cant beleive you paid £240 for a pair Rob, my procomp ones were £80 for the pair & made a massive difference.

surprised at you alan, you know Robs will outlast and outperform the procomps - my procomps lasted 18 months on forest tracks but were shot after 12, I`m hoping as Rob is, that these will last at least twice that - we`ll see

read my other post Basil, I could buy 3 sets of pro comp to 1 set of robs, & im not on forest tracks, Edinburgh roads are worse than that anyway
