guetta lands in the south

ok some may remember me from the other day.
I have been wanting an l200 for many many years. i was a member on another l200 forum back in 2010 (sorry never saw this one back then :-( )
i had the cash to buy a new shape l200 and there were plenty about but very high mileage.
i decided to lower my budget and go for a classic l200.
this ment i could spend less, get a better l200 and spend some money making it a good one.
I searched around and found the "ONE" my one. it just stood out at me.
may not look anything special but i could tell the owner cared for it.
the owner wanted wayyy too much for it but we half decided on a good price.
i went to view it today, done hpi, test drove and got it for a very good price.
im not sure if its a girl or boy (too early days) but my mrs calls it guetta due to the last 3 digits on the reg being gue
its a 2002 (52) 2.5 animal in blue/silver with leathers,ac blah blah.has full service history with 97k on the clock.
it didnt come with any rear canopy or cover but did have load liner and aftermarket alarm (handy for lower insurance).
it has a small starting problem but im on the case of solving that
no major plans yet as im loving the look anyway. i may go up slightly, tyres are big enough for now. speakers do need upgrading to a nice set of components but that really is all that i feel needs doing (apart from a rear cover or cab).

Im going to have to change its name ha ha ha.
mrs didnt look at the reg properly and i should have paid more attention. its geu not gue. perhaps a mod could change the title to .....erm..... Geum instead of guetta ? haha.
