Auto recon boxes are on eBay. I found a fair few of them while back when we thought about putting it back on the road.

Front locker. Means you can lock the front diff off road.

ok to replace my gearbox i need a V4A51-4 or as plate says "V4A51 4900"
am i correct in thinking the 4900 (just rounded up) is the what stick posted earlier regarding the diffs........."Whats diff's are in it ? 4.875 28 splines ??"
so i ignore the 4900 bit and look for a V4A51 gearbox or it it the size of the shaft inside the gearbox?

im working up to something i just need to know if im correct so far.

Don't mater what the box is. As long as the font and rear diff match. You want to put in the lowest final drive out put you can

Well yeah that is true. Am saying any v6 box should fit. However if 1 model box is a lower ratio final drive the get the lower 1. Try looking on the Paj owners site a lot more v6s on there

could i get a shogun v6 box (as long as its a v4a51) take the transfer box off and put my l200 transfer box on? ive found a few shogun models using the same gearbox but they have a different numbers afterwards such as ours is v4a51-4 and a shogun is v4a51-5 or v4a51-7. are you saying the last digits are to do with the ratio in the transfer box? trying to understand what the number actually means. thanks

They nshould mate up no bother fella, whats up with box in truck at present ?

Auto box is alot easier for hardcore off-roading in my opinion, easier to drive, manual is ok but takes alot of time to learn how to drive it,

the cross reference shows gearboxs as the same but as ive been trying to find out, i dont know what the number is at the end.... because the last digit doesnt match.
example
l200 = V4A51-4
shogun sport = V4A51-5
challenger = V4A51-7

whats the last digit mean?????????????????????????????????

carpet cleaned but will get another clean once dry then will be changed to black.
front seats now cleaned and being dried.
all ecu's lifted and cables and connectors under 6" off the floor, hot glued remaining connectors to ensure if they get wet there is not a short or any later corrosion.
I have however found a td fuse box is not wired the same so going to have to find the v6 wiring diagram and compare with the diesel wiring.
i also have a few small rust spots around the seat belt bolts so will get some protector on them and catch it before it gets worse.
