Questions regarding rim/tire sizes

#1 by Linusp3 , Sat Jun 02, 2018 5:32 pm

Im about to get a new set of rims and tires for my 2008 L200 for expedition/overlanding. I am thinking BF Goodrich AT but I’m having a hard time figuring out if I should go with a 16” or 17” rim and what’s the maximum size tire fits in the wheelhouse without adding a lift kit to the car... anyone out there who got a clue on what I should look for?

Thanks
Linus

Thanks, but that’s no use for me.
What I need is someone to step up and say -“I’ve fitted 33” without any issues” or -“You can’t go bigger then 31” or they will rub”...

I had BFG AT K/O2s on my classic
reasonable price
look great
quite quiet
dont sup too much fuel
more than up to handling off road stuff

I'd definitely recommend them
cant help with your wheel size choice as it all depends on wheel offset as to what wheel/tyre packages will go on without issues with regards to rubbing the bumper and inner arches. Also make sure the wheels you get dont foul the calipers. I've found this one out the hard way as have many on here

Thanks!
Any chance you’re sitting on some pictures on how it looks?
