I have registered but account not activated yet so I'm posting as a guest for now!

I am looking for a double cab L200 (in the UK) for towing & my meagre budget looks like getting me a late series 4, BUT a Mitsubishi salesman (actually more like a salesboy but maybe I'm just getting old) is trying to tell me that the series 4 auto is bad for towing as it is only a 4-speed box.
He reckons the series 5 auto is good for towing with it's 5-speed box but I should get a manual if going for a series 4.........

Much as I'd love a series 5, I don't think I can make the financial stretch.

Amazing as it may seem, said salesboy happens to have a series 4 manual for sale on the forecourt!.....Ain't that a coincidence!!!
