ABS Sensor resistance and failure

#1 by Iain J , Tue Jan 15, 2019 9:08 am

I have ABS and traction control warning lights on. I measured resistance front offside sensor at ~760 ohms.

Then measured both rear sensors both on and off the vehicle. Open circuit on both which I assume means they are fried.

Before swapping them out, is there any reason two would go at same time? No way a power surge could be generated to cause that? I assume they are passive - only two wires.
