Overfuelling, sticky throttle help!

#1 by Trucktruck ( Guest ) , Fri Mar 01, 2019 8:00 am

Morning all,

I am waiting for account to be authorised, bit in the meantime I am hoping someone can shed some light on this...

Truck is k74 02 plate animal

Out of nowhere I have a very odd issue, the truck is now overfuelling big style, and idle is now at 1500 rpm and revs seem to "stick" if they get over 2800 ish - or between gear change

Also boosts heavily - I assume compensating for fuel ( I have a gauge in the truck )

I have recently replaced the vgt solenoid, tb solenoid and the boost pressure sensor - unrelated vgt control issues which are now sorted! Egr removed all vac hoses renewed.

I say the solenoids are unrelated because this exact issue happened 3 months ago ( before I did the work), but then mysteriously resolved itself the same day, I have exact same symptoms as before only they remain... Am fearing fuel pump but have lobbed some forte in the tank for blind optimism

If anyone has a clue I would really appreciate it
