Where's the next noise coming from?

Classic ( barely run in... 145K. miles)...bumping/thumping noise coming through over pot holes. Put new milner bushes in the front anti roll bar.. this has improved things 80% but some thumping over bumps is going on behind me . any suggestions where to look? Ta Nik

That'd account for the smell anyhoo.
check anything that used to be made of rubber. transfer box mounting bushes on both mine were goosed.
If it's not broken yet, you're not trying hard enough.
