L200 dpf fault

Hi Guys, new to the site and was hoping that someone may be able to help me. I have a 15 plate L200 challenger with 50k on the clock. I was driving on the motorway this morning and it went into limp mode with the dpf and engine management lights on. I noticed that the intercooler pipe from the throttle housing had a small split in it, so put some tape around it to seal it but still in limp mode. When I disconnect the wiring from the throttle sensor the vehicle drives perfect. Any suggestions please ? Or is it main dealer. 😡
