Hi guys I have a 2006 l200 2.5td K74 my sliders are stuck in the calliper carriers good an proper,, does any one know where I can just get the carriers from ? I need both sides, it’s the twin piston type,

Hello Nemisis,
Sounds like you have the same truck as me. I had the same problem, you should be able to work the pins free using a vice and a good bit of elbow grease. Mine cleaned up well and I didn’t neeed to replace the pins.
If you are unlucky and need new carriers, take a look on eBay.

Hi ,
Will try taking working the pins out with some heat, and will buy some new sliders I couldn’t find the carriers to suit on eBay

yeh i have done the same of a few trucks now good old clean out with wire brushes and drill bits new sliders and the nproper grease jobs a good un

As Chef says , should be no need to replace the carriers IF you can get the sliders out ( Heat and a vice worked for me ) . Once out get a set of wire brushes ( bottle type ) that go on a drill , and give the inside a good going over , it will be full of old grease and crap, then get proper grease ( not copper grease or standard grease ) and sliders and should be ok
