sad times but she has to go!

#1 by nyezee , Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:07 pm

well due to some unforeseen family circumstances the truck is needing to go. I need something a little more practical for longer journeys, i will add some more recent pics when i have cleaned it ( she is filthy in these pics!), but here goes.

2004 warrior in black 96,000 miles. tax till end of august, 12 months MOT. lifted shackles and wound up torsion bars, also have a 2 inch body lift kit and camber shims but they are not fitted yet. four new mud tyres that have done less than 500 miles, side steps removed but steps and bolts are included if you want to put them back on. 8000k HID head lights, led sidelights and led interior and map lights. reverse camera and 7 inch screen with second input for video (currently using to show video from Iphone) Parrot ck3200 handsfree kit.alpine head unit with 12 disc changer, also have the original head unit and cd changer. straight through exhaust with de-cat. egr and egr cooler removed and blanked off.

the only thing i can think of that is wrong with it is that it has a small overboost issue but im sure its either a vac hose leak ( i have all now hose to fit) or a pin hole in the intercooler that is causing it but i haven't had the chance to sort it out with all the shite that's going on at home.

any and all questions answered..

I am after as close to £4000 as i can get as thats what i paid for it 6 months ago and have spent a bit more getting it raised and putting a few bits on it

my number is 07588474808

thanks for looking
Tony

no advisories on mot, cambelt was changed in march last year by the last owner. I recently done an oil change and greased all the nipples, i also fitted a new fuel filter and a center prop bearing. I am the second owner (log book says im the 3rd but the fella i got it off owned the company it was first registered to) there a couple of pics in the gallery but i wont get to clean it till the weekend as im flat out at work at the moment. And i have to add its 97,000 not 96,000 as i put above i will change that now

Got to say i like the look but i am a little afraid of the overboost issue and tbh i dont know much about it. I did a quick read up yesterday but seems it could be one of many things that can cause the problems.
Can anybody else give any advice/ knowledge to this? would be much appreciated!

There is a how to:- on setting up the turbo in the workshop section, not a major job.... no techie tools needed to get a rough setting that works for most..Ideally a MuT III diagnostic setup is requires, but can be done without.
