The steering wheel volume control has failed and was replaced under warranty...

but failed within 1/2 hr of driving. First the volume went, then the mode switching as well. The garage said this was a module that was fitted to the Kenwood unit. Does this mean there is a fault in the Kenwood unit causing it to burn out?

I'd really like to get this working as the knob on the head unit is tiny!
