Carpet.....

#1 by Gregzx7r , Sun Mar 24, 2013 10:44 am

Every time i hoover out my truck i look at the grey carpet i think it would look so much better if it was black.... ie i'm thinking could it be sprayed? dyed? etc.

Opinions guys?

Or should i just stop hoovering it,and eventually it will turn black lol.

remove carpet and do valet trick (well I did this along with the others when i was 18-20 at a main dealer on new cars with black carpets..
Spray can in the colour you want and vola carpet like new....wont last long but long enough for about 2 months..

You wouldn't think of spraying or replacing with black carpet and then rubbing in waterproof wax etc like you get in outdoor stores, you'll still have to hoover crap but it won't stain

Or....get some rubber pond liner, remove carpet use as template cut liner to shape then refit both in truck with liner on top. my truck gets really muddy due to work, so would be easy to clean.

Simples. eh eh eh.......
