Was dropping off stuff for me ma at an auction house and there is a load of tools, hand winches etc but noticed this chain, how much would it be worth and would it be any use?

If it hasn't got certificates its only really worth scrap!

As long as I know, suspect it has come from a building contractor that's went into liquidation, I know companies can't sell items when in liquidation but this idiot has company logo clothing in with his lot.

It looks like the kind of chain used to pull plant and machinery onto low loaders etc.

You might find the rating on the hooks

If its rated it will be stamped on the o-ring...

that's the sort of thing I would buy then spend the next few years moving it out of my way in my garage whilst working out what on earth I was going to do with it

Thought they were for this, the company I think they're from are a building/plant contractors, done all Tesco work over here.

Krutly, that's why I posted this as I would of maybe bought it and then done exactly that, just moved them about or maybe hung them on the garage wall as a art feature

The chain looks suitably rated for the size of the hooks and top ring. Only bout £30 to get em tested. Takes bout half an hour. I'd want to pay no more than £50 for them untested.
