Mine already had the bar on. It's when I bought a towbar, and trying to attach the 2 at the same time on my own was.....ermmmm...... fiddly to say the least!

Yes it is..thing is i sat the bolts in place before i tightened the nuts up then removed and worked on the other side, did the same till it was positioned right.but....turns out when you go back to the first side, its moved and you cant get the bolts through...pita but,its done now.

It was a few years ago now.
On the same subject......I painted the towbar on my pram yesterday. I considered taking it off, and getting it powered coated. Soon changed my mind, as the Raging Bulls have a unique & bigger rear bumper - which I could see wrapped round my face! So I painted it in situ!

Hammerite and I don't get on either, so I used the same stuff I painted my rear drums with. Heat rated from Halfords, it turned out well - nice and smooth

Know what you mean, hammerite is to thick to get a decent finish...last thing i wanted was to see brush marks.this stuff has impressed me really guaranteed for 5 years as well so....we will see

So,being the resourceful fella i am,i bought a can of silver plastikote spray and did them myself

The new shapes suffer badly with wear on the silver window switch surrounds....looks like a good job you've done there

Bit more done today...not much cos its chuffing freezing here today...

Wiper arms.....started to flake and look crap,so off to the workshop ( shed) to get them cleaned up and sprayed.they look like new again now..piccies to follow.
I need to do the canopy rails as these are starting to do the same.as i said, its too cold today so thats next weeks job.remove, sand down and clean, then resprayed.

Oh,also had a very quick go at the alloys..i started to rub the oxidation off today, only did one spoke but i can see how with a little effort and time they can look good again.
