Looking to upgrade

#1 by Jem ( Guest ) , Sat Aug 22, 2020 12:34 pm

Hi All

I have just registered and awaiting approval to join. I currently have a 2011 L200 Trojan with hardtop 101k miles and am looking to updgrade to a newer model maybe a Warrior or Barbarian 2015/16- 2018. I have driven a Titan and it felt a bit flimsy, and doesn't have the spec of my existing l200 so that s why I am thinking of a Warrior/ Barbarian. Has anyone got any advice on the Warrior, driving experience etc, would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Jem

any advice @yasser ?

Jem , I'm thinking your current 2011 is pre diesel particulate filter
if you do a lot of short journeys the DPF may become troublesome
@Nick eventually sold his for this reason I believe

DPFs came in on 2012 L200s

The quality of the newer L200s has definitely dropped.
My 2006 Warrior had better quality sun visors than my 2013 Barbarian. The 2006 were a lot more padded.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure whether it is or not. I have had no problems so far. From what I saw and experienced driving the 2017 Titan, I didn't think the quality is a good as mine.

Thanks Nick. Yes I noticed this when I drove the 2017 Titan last week. I am worried that the warrior maybe the same and also the Barbarian.
