Hi all, looking for some advice/recommendations for a winch to fit on my 2006 pram. Will be carrying out the driveway butchery myself, or diy to be posh. Got budget around £400. Wont be using it often at all, bit of self recovery if needed and the odd tree stump removal, but mainly because I think they look great fitted. Looking at terrafirma and rhino at the moment but will gladly take advice. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had this one on for bout 3 year now. It’s a wee bit more but you can get it cheaper with wire rope. It’s been a very good budget winch so far.

for £400 i would get the winch max with plasma rope might be just over £400 but worth it

@123hotchef I'll take a look at the winch max, thanks. Also, any particular relay/wiring setup preferred for the winch max?

i prefered the older desing winchmax TBH, same as the older desing warn. both have changed to this desing now which is kinda weaker and more expensive to repair.

If you can find a second hand old style winchmax or warn id go for that unless there are still the older desing new ones available.
