4lc is to lock the centre diff in the 4x4 system, use this for mud and loose surfaces never on the road as it will damage something, if it’s not selecting it could be the plastic bit that goes on the end of the gearstick in the box has broken and jamming it, the part is quite easy to source but the gearstick needs removing to replace it.
That’s about as much as I know about the super select gearbox, there is the other possibility that a super select gear knob has been put on a standard gearbox

Thanks Rob1307 a lot .This what mention to me but the cost is really high as they mention that it going as a complte set. Am I able to purchase only the plastic bit ? Also as the truck I have purchased secondhand I had the same thought that knob is been replaced just not sure how to check that . Also this truck is with the R/D lock function .

Hello Boys Merry Christmans to All!
Many thanks for the reply. I was able to find a bush in Tayland via ebay but, it is for the actual gear box and not for the 4X4 system.
Do you by any chanche have in mind a place to find and purchase the actual component ?
Regards

If it is super select it will be written on the dash warning light or possibly on an instruction sticker on the drivers door if it's not you've probably got easy select.

If it's not broken yet, you're not trying hard enough.

Here's a pic of the gearstick ends there's no bush on the 4x4 stick only the main gear-stick/Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

this is an easy select setup.

Well Daviemtc definetly is not a super select model as it has the RD Lock function. This is end 2007 Safari Double Cab Model . To change the Bush is there any part in the manual or a video to have a look ?

Iv'e only worked on the K74 models so things may be different on yours .(This information is good for K74 RH drive don't know shit about later models ).There is no bush on the 4x4 stick end as you can see from the photo. To engage 4low simply push the stick forward from 2 high to 4 high and then push left and forward for 4 low there should be no need to press down. If you can't do this there is probably something wrong with the selector mechanism, I've not stripped a box yet, so can't help with that one sorry.

Wenn Sie hier auf Links zu eBay klicken und einen Kauf tätigen, kann dies dazu führen, dass diese Website eine Provision erhält.

I can’t find the exact bust for the end of the transfer lever so I’ve found a link for what one similar looks like , it may be a main dealer only part.
The plastic bush is known to break and jam the transfer lever so it won’t move properly

THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT ONE JUST AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT ONE LOOKS LIKE

After chatting with some more knowledgeable people that myself they advised to contact a firm called “mitzy bits” as they stock the white plastic bush that goes on the end of the transfer stick in the gearbox

Rob many many thanks. I have thrown a line to the seller (mitzybitz) and see from there as it seems to be an expert . I do see he has Bush for the Gear stick but it seems more rare to find for the 4x4 stick.

If it's the same box from 86-07 easy select, there is no bottom bush on the transfer lever end only a top fulcrum bush. As can be seen in the photo i posted earlier, this was removed from a working box. I had a look in internetland and did find this.. Werbung: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-Mitsubishi-...-QAAOSw7Npde9qy
The set includes a full bush set for the gearshift and the fulcrum bush for the transfer stick.

Rob I speak with Neil and this is his reply :

"On the L200 DID model, it is normally the the plastic folks on the bottom of the 4x4 lever the break off, this is common. You cannot get any spares for this lever, it is a complete lever you will need."

What I could say really . Also he doesn't have any spare so dead end from there just the info really . He is a very nice Guy!
