Difference between 2000 K74 and 2003 K74

Hi all. New member here. Ok, so I've owned my 2001 K74 for 5 years now. Recently I saw a 2003 K74 that was too good to miss so I decided to buy it as a replacement. Can someone on here please tell me all the engine differences between the two vehicles. Obviously they are both 4d56 but, the 2001 seems much more basic ( I can see the 2003 has a catalytic converter and engine management light).
Thanks in advance.

2003 should be nmore controllled by the ECU ( for emmisions , hence the CAT ) you will have ' Fly by wire ' accelerator ( no physical accelerator cable ) , Egr Cooler, and many more sensors. If you so wished you can put a ' tuning box ' on a 2003 upwards.

Bodywise and equipment wise they wil be very similiar

Nice one ronniecabers ! On further inspection I can see that the catalytic converter has been bypassed.
