Immobiliser removal

#1 by japstar , Fri Dec 10, 2021 7:59 pm

Hi all,

I'm planning om moving all the components of a FBW-engine to a non FBW engine.
My question, is it possible to remove the immobiliser system? (doner FBW is a 2006 Animal K74)
I've found in the wiring diagrams that 1 connection to the engine ECU is immobiliser presence dependant. (see image).
Can I just connect the 0.85 B_R cable to the number 38 pin of connector C-50 instead of the number 46 pin to remove the immobiliser function?
