Oxfordshire - Clutch required - anyone able to help - please

#1 by jimmythesaint , Sat Jul 05, 2025 9:00 am

Hi Folks

Well its been a while since my last confession.
My 56 L200 Animal is requiring a clutch replacement.

Trouble is finding a garage that would do it?

Aside from a main dealer or garage, does anyone know any mobile diesel mechanics, I'm happy to help and get dirty and pay cash.

Thanks in advance

not a bad job to do yourself tbh.

I cant see why a garage would not undertake this.

Lack of tools & location as well as arthritis mostly stopping me even attempt it, as well as fear of not putting it back together correctly. Cheers for still being here Chef

Its something I would love to actually do myself in all honesty, given the chance I would pay to be a 2nd pair of hands.
