Mechanics for Hire?

#1 by Fielder , Mon Nov 25, 2013 12:04 am

Hi Yau'll.

While i consider my self fairly handy with a spanner and able to get most Jobs done. There are some things i can never ever seem to get right, The first being electrics of any kind (ironic for a qualified IT systems engineer i know) and the second involving any form of bleeding of Brake lines.

So, Before i start all the work i have planned on my Truck, Is there anyone around here on hand to assist with the odd bits of work? For a fair price of course (and preferably in the south east of the country too)

Might be handy for you to narrow down the location a wee bit more

Ah brilliant, Are your weekend hiring rates based on British pound sterling or Crates / Kegs of beer?

Terrifying thought letting a 12yo at your brakes but I've done mine and my family's in the past and all those motors still stop, so if you want a hand at tackling them yourself I am more than happy to help.

I can do electro-butchery too but nothing near as refined as Mr @LezT. Handy for over-engineered re-wiring or emergency repairs. I work for food, tea, veg oil or beer
