Hello there matey. For the budget you have a barbarian is certainly within it! I've owned both old and new shapes, and for me theyre chalk n cheese. A barbarian has far better turning lock, 4wd system, fuel economy, power and reliability. Makes sense

I've had X2 old shapes. The first one blew X2 engines and cost a fortune. The second cost a fortune in preventative medicine, but never blew up. Then I bought a new shape. I chose an l200 purely for the super select 4wd system that allows driving on patchy dry/wet tarmac. The mpg is far better than old shapes (unless you enjoy the big increase in power too much), they don't look as butch as the old ones, but I do so have no problems driving about in one
