How do I seperate this? Need to replace donut and joint

2001 trojan green over silver, 30mm wheel spacers, all terrains, side steps removed, egr blanked, air con unit, rad and tension plate removed.
Trojan died the ole bitch, driving a Peugeot 406 now ffs

Got all 4 circlips out but caps won't budge to come out

Make sure you mark parts first to line up prop shaft to assemble in same way so you don't unbalance the propshaft
Then use a socket to fit the cap and another socket that is large enougth for the cap to fit inside on the other side and gently press it out with a vise until you can get hold of the cap with a pair of molegrips and pull it out.
A extra pair of hands will also help.

Mite be a good idea to borrow a gear puller as well if the centre bearing has been on for a while. It will save lots of sweating and swearing.

No need for a press. get the prop off & stuck in a large vice. split the prop by removing the bolt in the centre of the joint then batter feck out of it to split the 2 ends. pay attention to what way the old prop bearing comes off. I removed the circlips on the UJ's then skelped them with a hammer & chisel. then just use your savvy to work out how to get them out.

I took the easy way out,got the prop off,went to Northwest Propshafts just down the road from me.£120 and 2hrs later I was back on the road...
