Non return valve

#1 by bart , Mon Oct 06, 2014 1:22 pm

Having some probs with starting first thing and it seems like lack of fuel at the injectors so i am thinking about sticking a NRV in the fuel line but what i was wondering is where in the line do you fit it ?

It's a 2002 classic

Before i started it this morning i gave the primer a couple of squirts and it fired straight up... seems like either air is sneaking in somewhere or the fuel is sliding back in the pipes as it takes a couple of goes to start if i dont do the primer

Had this with mine , rubber bleed off pipe from metal injector ones to return on pump was perished and letting air in and all fuel pipes at the tank were rotten and leaking ( metal and rubber )

I put the nrv just at the top of the main feed to the filter so if its still sucking air in you can narrow it down to the fuel lines from the tank i also renewed the primer head 38 quid off ebay Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

I will stick one just before the filter and see if it improves.
