shackles

Might be a daft question but if i put longer shocks on the back of my classic will it lift it or is the only way with shackles cheers

You've got to use shackles for the lift and compliment it with appropriate shocks...

Shackles do the job, longer shocks won't

So if you put 4" lift shackles on, would you have to replace the shocks?

Yep, ideally shocks should match your lift

I read somewhere on here that 4" shackles will lift 2" at the axles so would i need +2 or +4 shocks?

i have 4" shackles and standard shocks and it is just fine never had a problem off road yet

You can run standard shocks with lifted shackles but they will max out easily and will limit articulation.

Will +2 shocks be ok with std shackles until i change them as my shocks are knacked

hum good question it will probably take some of the weight off of the springs
change them together I am sure your shocks can wait a wee while

Not too sure they will as there is no outer casing on them unless anyone had a old set
