Side light bulb holders

#1 by Jon Grimsby , Fri Jan 16, 2015 6:15 pm

Has anyone found a non genuine replacement for the front side light bulb holders, mine are in a similar state to my fogs, I cant believe Mitzi did not design this area with some protection from the front wheel

I will be interested to hear how they fit, the plug dosnt look correct though, but I could chop that and splice into the standard loom.

@ronniecabers I think mine has been dipped in Brine to be fair its nothing I would not expect from a 10 year old truck although it would all be a lot better if Mitzi had covered them in, maybe there should be a recall

Just checked mine 05 plate classic and the same as Kurt's pic for the bulbs.(only because they are not being used due to LED indicators and no sidelights used on truck)

Jon,I would if I could but its the ones I've got on the loom end cut them off and fitted those LED's as flashers ,no sidelights required as we have secondary lighting in headlamp 😃

@Jon Grimsby
Fitted those eBay side lights. I just cut the plug off and crimped the wires onto the old plug. They fit very well and look almost identical to the mitzy ones. Bob on really for the price. And they come with bulbs.
