hi

Moted my l200 99 crewcab last week and now half shaft snapped on passenger side while in 2wd. Have been told hard to get hold of and best to get another rear axle again with lsd and fit but no luck finding any help or advice would be great. She is an import i think as speedo in km and you have to get out and lock the front hubs. I love her but looking may be a wright off with the insurance as a shame as goes really well and good condition.

I am based in devon but happy to travel.

it wasnt that old as had been replaced before my ownership and going round a corner on a sharp uphill bend it was rough concrete and guess my l200 which has really off road tyres and spacers and pulling a trailer with a digger on was too much grip and let go. was in 2wd and guess should have got out and put in 4wd. its a bugger!

Would love to keep on the road so any options would be great.

hi, tried him last night as not to far away but he had nothing suitable. very helpful and said i need to look for an alternative and modify to fit.

u should have the hubs off then no resistance on the half shafts

Did you leave him your number ? he gets new stock in all the time

I've got some half shafts off an lsd axle. They are off a 2005 animal 2.8 import. They are off a 4.636 ratio axle with abs. Ive also got a set of half shafts off a 4.636 ratio locking diff axle (non abs). I've got the whole axles for both these but just with no diffs in them. Half shafts are off them if you need them. Just check to see if they are the right ones for your vehicle.
