Truck mechacic by trade, with preperation and presentation to VOSA, our core business, as the
Low Emmission Zones roll out across the country, I can also advise on exhaust abatement systems, as we have required them down here for several years now.
General mechanical things are no problem for me, having many years experience in the trade.
Auto Electrics and electrical modifications. Almost anything is possible
Electronic Tinkerer with a good basic understanding and knowledge of PIC (Programmable Intergrated Circuits).

Lez. How much would I be roughly looking at for you to change the leaf springs and the rest of the stuff that goes with it?

£45 per side labour, and the cost of the bits, which I think is around
£84.00 per side for the spring kits 4 +2 Leafs, shackles and pins etc.
£27.60 per side Spring Hanger plates, ( the bolts usually break )
£36.00 per side for normal shock (if you want them done at the same time)
£72.00 per side for Heavy duty gas shocks (if you want them done at the same time)
Parts prices are inc vat. for ease of calculation.
There is a delivery charge on the bits of 15.00 I beleive, not 100% though.
Lez.

Adrian, cannot think of any one in particular to avoid but look at Renault or Peugot are the ones that spring to mind, still plenty of them around so they can't be bad at all, and the ones I have worked on are still in reasonable nick too.

Basicly a Peugot mate, they will do no wrong going for that Engine and Chassis wise, probably a 1.9 or 2.4. I have had 2 in last week for LEZZ exhaust fits, one of each.
