#1 by Jon Grimsby , Tue Jun 09, 2015 10:27 am

Going through my sensors, I have the multi meter set up as in the picture, is that correct?

Boost air temp sensor ok, Coolant temp sensor ok, cant get a reading off the Fuel temp sensor, am I testing the correct pins? 7 and 12 as in the pic, the yellow marks are empty slots.Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

This is the page from the manual, I have tried the other pins '1 & 6' and nothing there either.

multi meter is set up correct did you touch the 2 probes together before you started?

if there is no resistance betweeen 7 ajnd 12 it indicates the sensor is duff when u say no reading what do you actually get

Yes I touched the probes together and zero'd the meter, when I say I got nothing I meant the needle did not move at all.

Its a ring type connector and it looks like I can take it out but I have just been to Mitzi and there parts list does not show it at all, they think it is part of the pump ??

Helps if you read the ruddy instructions correctly, its pins 7 and 11, all checked out ok, so its not the fueltemp sensor which is just as well as its a new pump if that goes down, many thanks to Feather Diesel Services.
