I would think there would be a risk of the shackle pivoting on the centre bolt but would probably be okay if you welded them together, ive got a spare set in the garage, I'm away out for a look

Those shackles must be fixed in some way, the load is directly upwards through them so they have no option but to fold unless welded.

Only comment, not braced and liable to flex, only a bolted spacer in the centre too, come with polys so a cheap alternative to heavy duty ones. Just remembered you were after some, in stock now too..Details in for sale section.

Most alarm systems are much cheaper now, most of the Alarm brains are made in the Li-ton factory in Taiwan, even the big names have their boards made there.

Simples mate, all the doors are linked to the interior light, loom for it runs up the drivers 'A' pillar. central locking is on the side of the fusebox in the drivers kick panel, if you have a canopy the I would recommend a tilt switch for the door or an Infrasonic sensor ( excellent bit of kit, no false alarms and will guard the tub well ), have to read the wiring diagram to check out a fuel pump cut, shouldn't be any majors either.
Indicators are in the loom down next to the drivers seat. +15, +30 and neg ( Ign, Live and ground) are easily accessable from the under dash drivers side, fat grommet to get under the bonnet at either side just above the wheel arch.

Write up not so difficult, problem will be I can only list all the probable required connections for 'most' alarm systems............but it would suffice for most installs...
