As most of you know i've just swapped my truck
Its a 2013 Barbarian, but it doesn't remote lock the Tailgate, both my Warriors did.
Is there a plug n play kit available?

Advice please, thanks!

not sure mate didnt know they were available for the classic TBH

get a popper off ebay 2-3 quid and wire it up to a door if not

I fitted it myself.

Just splice it in to the coloured wiring under the NSF sill, under the kick plate

I thought the canopy top would overhang the tailgate to stop it bein opened

My canopy top overhangs so if I lock that with the key you can't open the bottom bit. The locking keys on eBay are basically simple 'poppers' but there is a linking arm that needs to be specially made if you want it to work correctly which makes a diy option on the new shape a bit harder.

The kit is designed for the 06+ Models but now i know it will also work on the Pre 06 models.

I have also just made a kit for the Australian L200 as there 06+ tailgate is different to ours but it looks similar to the inside of a pre 06 model.

What im trying to say is i think our Aus Version will fit better that the UK version.
