I had my back seat down today and when i pulled the tab it had bo resistance and back seat came away easy when returned upright it isnt locking back into position.

Ive looked at the locking device and they dont seem to be locking

Can they be adjusted or r they out of line

if it's a classic you've got ......... then I've still got my old seats buried in my garage somewhere ........ if it's the spring/mech bit of the catch that's gone then I can see if I can remove mine for you ?

Its a new shape ive got. Leather seats. I thought the catch spring.il av a look n see if it can be removed somehow

Oooops ye it happened twice

u can bend the metal hoop if it has been bent out of place so the catch dont catch it
