L200 2012 flat spot

Random flat spot. Drastic drop in mpg then blue smoke and recovers and fine for a few days.
Agri chip fitted. Issue once before fitting
Egr bypass chip. A little better
Checked boost valve pipes. Noticed intake is black and dirty
Cleaned MAS for gd measure.
Pickup does sit undriven a lot.
Anyone got any ideas what to check next.

Possible dpf regeneration?
