Hellllllp wrong fuel

#1 by geordiewarrior , Thu Oct 06, 2016 12:29 am

Well the Mrs has only gone and put £20 petrol in my 07 Warrior (pram) the tank was nearly empty she drove it about 1 mile home.It was only when I started it later in the day that she realised what happened. I'm going to drain through tank in the morning but what else should I do?

From what I've been told by mechanics , putting petrol in a diesel is not to bad if as said above you fill to the brim with derv , but filling a petrol engine with diesel is a different story .
Follow the above advice and you should be fine

Same situation years ago and was advised to put some engine oil into the tank! It worked 🤔
