Air bleed bolt?

Where's the air bleed bolt mentioned in section 14-4 of the manual, for coolant refilling?

may find it easier to bleed out from your heat exchanger luke. what i do is fill mine, run it up on tickover with the rad cap off, obviously refil if needed, then cap on, let it cool down for an hour, check the level again, , repeat this time with the cap on -dont forget the expansion tank as well, then each and every time i have her out for a week i check the level before stating

remember something about having the front jacked as high as poss when refilling as well

NO just rebuilding from the new head. stat and rad cap are original. Good advice guys thanks. May have to do it that way Mike. Devil that's the engine block draining plug you're thinking of.

Though the stat does have a jiggle valve if that's what you mean?

When i swapped my stat and changed the anti freeze i bled mine up using the temp sender, on the top front of engine, just under the intercooler.
Easy to find, it has a spade connector on it.

you know if you had access to someone that can or you could yourself it would be worth making a bleed valve by extending the temp sender into a neck with a simple taper valve in extension neck

Guess I'll be doing it from the temp sensor or the heat exchanger then. Cheers guys. Shame we don't know where the bleed bolt is!

Try removing the top heater hose from the bulkhead fitting, won't have anything much higher in the engine bay.

About the same level TB. I'll compare tomorrow. Veg heater would be easier.
