Alarm problems

#1 by haigy , Sun Jan 01, 2017 10:16 pm

My 2006 56 plate l200 pram has developed a bit of an alarm problem.

I come to it press unlock and itl unlock and set alarm off before any doors are open turn alarm off and starts up fine. Now ive cleaned all sensors on the doors and still doing it.

Dont think its the battery in the fob as it will still unlock at about 20 meter away

Cheers nick il av a look in to it. I 4t the tailgate wasnt covered by the alarm as no lock on it. But that could be the culprit.

I fitted one of these to the tailgate, takes less than an hr.
