could someone advise me on what part i need to buy please.

truck failed its mot on " ball joint has excessive play nearside front (idler arm)"

my husband is away and and i need to get the parts ready for his return at the weekend.
do i need a ball joint, if so what one or do i need an idler arm?

I would suggest calling "Milners off road" (advert should appear on this screen at the top or bottom somewhere) and give them you reg number and they should be able to tell you what you need
the problem you might have is if the MOT man hasn't mentioned if it's upper or lower (my knowledge of suspension is very limited)
@123hotchef might be able to suggest which is most likely if that helps
