Ooooh that's where I was with my corvette. Quite an 'interesting' performance range to sit in. Probably get you a 13 second standing quarter. At those kind of bhp figures the talk shifts somewhat more towards torque........

Yeah its a good figure to aim for and it realistically do-able on a set budget. I am swayed towards a wagon more for the 'sleeper' look rather than saloon BUT see which deal is the best, got both in mind, both local too.

Abit weight reduction, cage and then start to spec it up properly with some new bits and some second hand refurbished parts.

Easily done. Good thing about those cars is they are easily modded. But the engines need pretty regular servicing and clutch replacements at those bhp figures. At the risk of sounding like a hypocrite to my own philosophy.....other Jap cars with V6's will get you the horsepower easier with less maintenance. Depends I suppose if you particularly want a wagon?

Not really, want an Impreza/Evo/Skyline.

Regular servicing is not the worry and neither really is a clutch, when it goes i'll get a ncie flywheel and stage 3 clutch,
