Alarm hassles

Can anyone help with this one.. My 2011 l200 has a problem with the alarm sounding when you return to the vehicle and press unlock on the key. The problem is intermittent - but is a real pain. The L200 has been back to the dealer where purchased, they checked for damaged cables going through the bulkhead - no problem found. They next replaced the entire Cobra system for the latest edition - then returned the vehicle as now "fault cured". Yesterday my wife and I went shopping and locked the vehicle as normal - guess what - on returning - unlocking the alarm sounded. The new alarm is really noisy. I have noticed that the drivers side front window is slow to lower and the courtesy light in drivers door is not operating, could a problem be in the door harness? I was wondering if a break or resistance in the loom to the lock may cause this issue. The car is under warranty so I am not tackling it myself - but the dealers seem stumped. Any help or advice appreciated.

Try cleaning the pin switch up on the drivers door, that earths the interior light.
Its worth a try and wont cost anything, or try a new bulb.

I have a Barbarian Black Edition and that's no problem, but the Trojan is really annoying - imagine a full car park - everyone turns to see the scrote pinching a car.

dont know if it's the same with your alarm but the one I've got on my bike stores any alarm codes so going into maintenance mode (using the handbook instructions) it'll beep a number of times to tell me which part of the alarm has been triggered
