Head Problems

Does anyone know if the early twin cam engines had head problems? Just been looking through the service history and found it had a new head, head gasket upgrade, head bolts, cambelt, tensioner and pulleys replaced at 50k while still under warranty. Was this a very expensive recall or just bad luck?

Regards
Tom

I beleive some still had problems, but not nearly as many as the Classics. My next door neighbour ( Well holiday home! ) had a 57 plate animal and his HG went.....
