New front brake pads fitted today and unsiezed the sliders again , slowly building the enthusiasm to tackle the alternator tomorrow
02 animal double cab back on the road after two years in a barn
shogun sport , not much I can say about it really other than it’s slower than the l200 🤷♂️

I filled mine with this thick sticky grease my neighbour gave me they use it on submarine umbilicals apperently

Put copper greese in this time , only had normal stuff last time

Alternator playing up so I've ordered the brushes kit and hopefully I will strip my other one and try a rebuild with it if the kit arrives by the weekend.
Any advise welcome on the rebuild

Parts haven't arrived but I've stripped down the old one and it's easy peasie to do.I will do a "How To " when the parts arrive.

Got some larger tires today. They're only about 29" for now, as I have no lift yet. Parked on a tiny pile of snow to get some articulation x)

got loads done on mine lately wifes in labour so was off friday and it its stopped for now soooo...
washed it ready to wax then it rained lol.
but today the sun was out so wire brushed the chassis painted on the krust stuff then put some underseal on it, then i went off to halfords got some 4" and 6" speakers.
got the speakers fitted then swapped out the vgt solenoids to some spares i had.
happy days

opened back door, got some logs out, lit fire and sitting back with london pride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did have warrior, but crossed over to disco 2.
Thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but it was somebody with a torch bringing more work!

sprayed some "wonder wheels" on my alloys and it works a treat
borrowed mates machine polisher and did the front wing (gonna have to do all the truck now)
put my cat back on as it's MOT time soon, not sure if it'd pass or not at the MOT place I go to so bung it back on just to be safe

2 inch body lift just completed , still have to sort out the bumper brackets and transfer lever and sort out the bend I put in the gear shift as its to much . Didn't to do bad as it took 6 hours on my own just let down by the welder I borrowed as I can't get a decent weld out of due to rusty wire , well happy 😀
