I'm curious. Is this actually going to be offroaded with that paint job?

No pal its a street queen, maybe a campsite at a push.

I spent years slagging off the street queen/shiny brigade, now look at me

We'll who can blame you when it looks that good though!

Don't blame you dude I'd cry if i scraped it off road , I was gutted I got go faster stripes from bushes the other day, hopefully will t-cut out looks like someone keyed it lightly lol
I was gutted and its got the o/s/r door dented and stone chips on the front

This is precisely why I've raptored mine.

I'm not bad with the spanners, but I'm a hopeless welder. I always admire craftsmens handiwork.

Almost at the final pictures stage to close this thread off and let it disappear down the pages into history. Hopefully inspired someone to take up the mantle Bed got another 2 coats and a textured top coat in speedliner to finish it off, will out last the truck now. {Well maybe not its a Toyota after all} Closer panel for tailgate also in matching speedliner and drying in a corner before fitting.
Rear bumper nearly finished so she will be road taxed again at the end of the month and will take me to plenty of motorsport events over the summer months. Then onto the next project no doubt. Might take a break from trucks and do a car next.

Just noticed this thread has been made a sticky, much appreciated and surprised given it's the wrong make.
With a quad cam conversion on the go and Antonio doing some great work this section will soon be full of Mitsy builds.

That's a shame. If it were mine I'd be happy to sit in the garage with a brew and look at it, cos it's a beaut.

Taking it to Doune hillclimb tomorrow pal. Might stick a for sale on it and leave it in the paddock.
Would rather keep it but sometimes you need to bend a little and this is one of these times for me. Back to my old self soon enough, just need to build another when I can.
