It was the lack of fuel that threw me off.

If you've still got fuel flowing back to the tank and have to crank it loads, it's best to get that sorted soon, else you'll destroy the starter motor. Glad you sorted it though

Doesnt seem to be draining back to be honest, which is even weirder. Cold morning yesterday up here, 0 degrees, started with about 2 seconds of cranking from cold.
