My mates looking at l200 which is in Devon. The guy’s saying “the ticking noise is coming from an injector “ is this a symptom of a failing injector??

Could be the seal and it's sounds like it's ticking, normally an injector seal when it goes ' chuffs ' and there would be visible residue. I'd he sure it's an injector and not the EGR valve , as that can ' tick '
