Quick question for you experts out there, 2010 LB, I have fogs, as most of you are probably the same i very rarely use them, once maybe twice a year, I fancy making more use of them and linking them up with the main beam, i'm not exactly up to speed with car lecki, i'm thinking finding the main beam wire out of the switch (before it gets to the relay) doing the same for the fogs, splicing each and linking them with a switch inbetween (so i can make them work as they currently do if need be)? any reason that wouldn't work??

If you just link them, your main beam will go on when you switch the fogs on. You need to put a diode in between so the current can flow just in 1 direction... I got the same setup...
