Gotten my hands on hpi rs4 rtr3 petrol radio control car

Problem is there isn't a hand controller/transmitter with it, think its 2.4Ghz.

Can I buy any one that is 2.4Ghz off eBay does anyone know ?

Yes you can. when you got it you then need to "pair" it with the reciever in the car. instructions should be with transmitter and reciever.
played with helicopters a bit.

Cool, I was just thinking about buying a 2nd hand transmitter but I suppose a google search will tell me how to pair it

in my day you had to match the "crystals" so you controlled your own car and not someone else's ........ not sure now though

was removable "crystals" coloured chips years ago - but now you pair or bind receiver and transmitter... by following a sequence. Has been ages since I did it, but recall not all stuff integrates but maybe wrong, best nip into a model shop or ask on a forum before buying of flea bay is basic stuff for the those guys.

I used to be into them...my first was a very uneducated acme conquistador...absolute sack of shite.
Then i bought a hpi savage xl...absolute beast..that thing was frighteningly fast..my lad still has a hpi wheelie king and a traxxas grave digger..both great trucks..i sold my savage as i just didnt get time to use it,but my lad still runs his trucks.
