Heated seat wiring in barbarian

#1 by Murgster ( Guest ) , Mon Nov 04, 2019 4:24 pm

I have a 2013 L200 barbarian and Iíve noticed that there is electrical wiring going to the seat but there are no heated seat switches. Would I be right in thinking that the wiring loom for the entire car would be standard when made and in fact all I need to find the plugs behind the blanking plates and fit some switches? Can it be that easy? [Thanks1]

Yes some B40's did have heated seats, switches were under the Lower LCD. (See pic below)
At a guess the wiring loom will be the same, you can buy a heated seat kit from Mitzi.
It was plug n play, Seat elements, relay, fuse, switches but wasn't cheap.
