Thanks for the reply Guys appreciate ! It is important to know , if of course you are aware ,who is the actual manufacturer of the Time Belt's for Mitsubishi. As Mitsubishi is not producing them, if I am correct?
Then you can purchase the same set in a margin . I have done the same with a water pump for the other car that we have in the family.

Well I use my own mechanic and not really very keen with the official Retailers, as from my experince they charge more .Also more keen to purchase the stuff and just pay for the job. This is the reason I am making this research .My mechanic said tha SKF is a brand with good reputation on that stuff as well as Gates ,Fai and Japanparts. So not sure which Brand is more near to the Mitsubishi specs or it is the Brand that Mistubishi use to manufacture these parts...

sorry cheffy, I forgot you're a major player when it come to timing belts and stuff ...... you must have done quite a few over the years
how many do you reckon you've done and what belts do you normally go with ?

not a major player by any means i have done 7 L200s this year all with milners kit, personally I have never had a problem with the milers belts or tensioners stick to the sercvice schedule and they do the job. That said i dont run the balance belts on my K74s anymore after i didnt stick to the mialge schedule and found one snapped

Cheers for the tag Kurt.

I have only ever used Milners belt kits.

I recon over the last 9 years I have done about 50 or 60. I lost count 🤣

Never had an issue with them or any failure of parts.

So Alan Milner Belt kits are far Better than Gates? Except the actual belt , SKF seems to be a more reputable brand in terms of tensioner bearing and idler bearing as well as Deflectors. I am suspecting that there is chanche to provide its bearings in these kind of kits.
So just thinking if in terms of quality is better to purchase a Good Belt (Milner, Gates) and all the other components from another brand like SKF which is more rreputable in bearings and Deflectors.
Please advice further hope I haven't been a pain for you!

Thanks in advance Alan ! You believe it is better to purchase the Belt Kit or just the belt and the rest of the components from another brand from your experience ?
